I studied Philosophy at the University of Ferrara (Italy) and at the University of Marburg (Germany).
I received my M.A. and Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Ferrara.

Currently, I have a permanent teaching and research position at the Philosophy Department at the University of Konstanz (Germany).

In May 2015 
I was awarded a two-year fellowship from the Brigitte-Schlieben-Lange-Programm für Nachwuchswissenschaftlerinnen mit Kind to carry out a research project on animal ethics.

In the winter semester 2017/2018, I have been a substitute professor at the Philosophy Department at the University of Siegen (Germany).

From the academic year 2015/2016 till 2017/2018 I have also taught Moral Philosophy at the University of Ferrara (as "professoressa a contratto").

- Philosophy of Enlightenment, especially Kant and his Practical Philosophy
- Normative Ethics and Applied Ethics, especially Animal Ethics and Robot Ethics
